Akibaranger Fan Club: Halloween 2015

It was quiet on the streets of Akibahara, Japan. Too quiet. Mostly because of the weather, the cold and dampness of everything lent itself to many staying inside (or doing trick or treating inside one's local religious gathering space, if you're apart of that kind of thing). Not that it mattered, as several club members were working on getting the (possibly) final installment to the Five Nights at Freddie's game on Steam. They decided to take turns, after at least 2 deaths another person gets to play. Some played Undertale if they weren't interested in playing Five Nights, the run varying from person to person. Halloween movies - classic, modern and everything in between - were being played in a couple different rooms. The wonders of imagination, a building can be like a TARDIS for holiday celebrations.

Except for a few who didn't celebrate at all. Who stayed away from spooky things and wanted no part in playing one of the Internet's most famous of jumpscare games. And by a few it was one. And that one was AkibaSilver. She had used the excuse of patrolling to get away from all the screams and frights, even though she knew that some of what Japan had to offer could make the original Grimm Fairy-tales look like their softer modern versions by comparison. But what could be done except to get away from the building and make sure that Malshina wasn't causing any mischief. It wasn't all bad, at least it was quiet and well-lit due to all the neon, not to mention the Akibaranger suit passed as a costume in of itself.

There was just one teeny, tiny problem...the fact that all the Five Night fan's imaginations went bonkers and it manifested in many, many, many duplicates rampaging through the streets and then some. A bunch of demonic Flowerys were growing (literally) around too. So it was two teeny tiny problems. And one Akibaranger currently on call.

"I don't get paid enough for this, oy gevalt." She worked on calling them in, "Come on, pick up, pick up, pick up..."

No answer.

"They must've turned up the volume on everything but the kitchen sink. Marvelous." She sighed vehemently and found herself having to run as some Bonnies started coming after her. "CAN'T THIS WAIT FOR EASTER?"

Back at the base, one of the members managed to see that there was a missed call. Said member was one of the newest, Lara Haiiro - AKA AkibaGray (or Grey for those of you not in America). "She didn't leave anything behind..." She got Cole (AkibaFire) and Jon dressed as Deadpool (AkibaViolet) and hit the streets with them.

"Imotooooooooooou!"

"Silverrrrrrrrr!"

"Senpaaaaaaaiiiiiiii!"

"Come on sis, where'd you van..ish..." Violet's words ground to a halt when he saw a duplicate of Majora's Moon crashing not far from where they were. "She didn't!!" The three ran until they saw that AkibaSilver did NOT don the titular Majora's Mask...it was actually a deluded Fierce Deity (Oni) Link - and from the hi-def look about him this was the one that came from Hyrule Warrior's DLC. His legs were also being kept together by a very freaked out feline sentai. "Sis, stop looking up his tunic and let go!"

"I AM DOING NO SUCH THING!" Silver yelled back at him while letting go and standing. Her legs were shaking as she walked over to them, Link silently following behind and acted as a support once they were with the other 3.

"What just happened!?" Gray asked as she noticed the broken robot parts that littered the streets.

"Possessed animatrons. Couldn't gun enough of them down. Ended up thinking of Link here when I was getting surrounded."

"You're not gonna go Cia on us now are you?" Vio asked with crossed arms.

"No! Geeze! He's just being a gentleman-warrior-person..." Silver scoffed and patted Link on the shoulder. There was no reaction except for a head nod. He's still wearing a mask, thus lack of actual facial expressions.

"Aw crud!" Gray pointed to some Flowerys coming after them.

Silver turned to Fire, "Dude. Light 'em up. Pretend they're ponies."

Fire cracked his knuckles and set them ablaze with the fury of a thousand suns. There might have been a cackle here and there, but it was hard to hear over the sound of the burning plants.

"Here we go again..." Vio groaned as he noticed even MORE Five Nights animatronics coming their way.


With the power of three Akibarangers and Fierce Deity Link, they managed to take them down a whole lot better than when it was just Silver doing it. There were pauses of peace between the waves but as the night went on and on there were even more and more...things seemed pretty grim until the stroke of twelve was heard. The delusions of the nightmarish foes started to dissolve; Halloween was over, as was their fight. The rangers said their farewells to Link as Silver let him go, his need done. There was some teasing on Vio's part, saying it was part of the big brother credo to do such things, at least until she imagined The Box Ghost and started to annoy Vio. Relentlessly. All the way back to HQ.

Everything seemed to have quieted down once they were back, the movies, games and a lot of the snacks already packed up (or the majority consumed in the case of the food). With a collective sigh and yet another punch to the Box Ghost's face from Vio they just rolled up where they could and crashed for the night.

Just another typical Halloween for the doubly unofficial Akibarangers.
