Steven Universe OC: (Itoigawa) Jadeite

I. FINALLY. DID. IT.
SPOILERS AHEAD IN ABOUT EVERYTHING, PROCEED WITH CAUTION. WILL UPDATE AS THE SHOW GOES ON.

Name: Jadeite, based off a regional type found in Japan.
Alias/nicknames: Jadey, Ito, Jay, Jadeito
Gender: Genderless/agender, uses she/her pronouns
Age:...Really, really old. Some point between the 6,000 of Amethyst and who knows how long of the others.
Alliance: Earth; like Amethyst and Steven she was 'born' on it.
Powers/abilities: Can shape-shift at will (generally takes on a form either found on the Chinese zodiac or a Japanese creature of myth), create a sword (can duel-wield) from her gem, has the ability to refract light with the use of her gem, super strength/speed. On the domestic side of things she can brew a lovely cup of tea and is a master at tai chi and tea ceremonies.
Dance style: J-pop (with some K-pop thrown in).
Music motif: Taiko drums!
Personality: Gentle giant, spacey, rather bubbly once you get to know her.
Height: Between Garnet and Rose.

History: She was a higher-ranking foot soldier in the battles between who called themselves the Crystal Gems and those who would be known one day as Homeworld Gems. She did lead her own small band that used to go after humans directly until they had gotten power from the 'enemies' to fight back. Jadeite ended up in a trap and left for dead by her own thanks to having no true loyalty. That would have been the end of her...had she not been extended kindness from a certain pink-haired leader. She fought alongside who were once enemies and was hit by those she once called allies in a battle near the ocean. Off the cliff-side her gem went and she ended up covered in sand. There was some awareness of this fact, and so spent more time recovering to prevent meeting water on coming back. What she didn't know was that she was being washed back to shore in time. A seaside merchant found her, was sold and...got a bit of a drilling in her gem. Though the person who did this was gentle in terms of gem-crafting she wasn't the same after that. It took her even longer to come out since her mind was scrambled.
Skip a few weeks and she finally came out but now had amnesia...and freaked out the person who bought her, who was a sumi-e creator. From him she learned much about the craft but would have lapses and seem to just stop remembering what she was doing. Instead of painting he suggested to write in journals, and write she did. She still writes to this day, but in books and with pens instead of scrolls and ink.
In modern day she's the local 'magical girl warrior' known for the ensō on her (due to her long-dead friend) that takes out Gem themed copies of various (famous) monsters that threaten the citizens of Japan. Since she came from Itoigawa she's sometimes called just Ito by the humans since she has no proper 'human name.'
Likes: Meditating, her journals, sweet teas, anime conventions (shape shifting makes it very fun).
Dislikes: Forgetting things, when humans get hurt by Corrupt Gems, moonless nights (they freak her out).
Voice claim: Janice Kawaye!
Other: Can speak English but sometimes English words escapes her or she goes into one of her space moments and forgets to use that language.
Fusions: N/A, open to fusion. Only restriction I have is that the fusion of Jade goes to a Nephrite (if I ever befriend someone who has a Gem OC/Gemsona like that) since Jadeite and Nephrites are jades, so...yeah.
Fusion compatibility: Using the Crystal Gems as examples we can see how their personalities will deal with Ito-chan in a fusion. _{No I'm not making fusions of her with them, too much effort.}

• Garnet: Pretty good, though it will end up in 3 eyes.
  
• Amethyst: Multiple eyes and limbs. Not the greatest melding. Ironic since they're both in the quartz family.
  
• Pearl: Rather well, though it would end up in 4 eyes.
